Lucas Cates is a 24 year old singer/songwriter from Madison,
Wisconsin. We discovered Lucas at an Open Mic Night at a club in
December of 2004. “We were immediately drawn in by his rich voice
and his timeless songs”.

Eleven months of pre-production and recording; and, one gall bladder
later(Lucas' that is!), we at PopBomb Records are proud to be
releasing Lucas' first recording titled, “Contradictory!” Due for
release at the end of January 2006. Possibly............ we'll be
releasing it locally before Christmas. No promises though.

"Contradictory!" is being produced by veteran musician/songwriter/
producer, Robert John Conaway and is being recorded and mixed at
Smart Studios and at our new PopBomb production studio.
