November 20th is the official release date for not one but 2 new recordings from singer/songwriter,  Robert J.  Over the past 10 months, Robert has been hibernating in the studio and at last, the long anticipated recordings are on their way back from the plant.

"A Beautiful Blur" is a singer/songwriter/AAA record and "The Revenge of the Rowdy Prairie Dogs" is an Americana/Country-rock CD which marks the debut of Robert's new band, The Rowdy Prairie Dogs.

When asked why 2 records at once, Robert says, "Well, I had over 50 songs that I had written since my last recordings with the Moon Gypsies and I was torn about which direction to go. So, I decided to do both recordings at once. There could have been a third, but doing two at once was crazy enough".

In other news, Robert sang two songs for the new full length Indy film, " Madison " due to hit the film festival circuit this coming fall and winter. He placed another song, "Rewind" from "A Beautiful Blur" in that film as well. This past September, Robert J. won first place in the Berghoff & Blues Talent Search and played an opening slot at the Berghoff & Blues festival with Sonny Landreth and James Cotton and other great blues bands..

PopBomb Records signs Madison singer/songwriter Lucas Cates to a record/publishing deal. Recording is already underway at Smart Studios and at Big World Studios. We at PopBomb Records feel that “Lucas Cates is one of the most creative songwriters to come out of the Midwest in a long time and we look forward to bringing his music to you.” His acoustic pop style reminds you of John Mayer or Jack Johnson and his voice is rich in timbre and style, which makes his songs unique and visionary beyond his 24 years. Look for a Fall 2005 release date.
